Pussies Galore in this specially selected, mixed bundle of beautiful willow cuttings!

Perfect for florists. Also great for attracting pollinators to your patch. Pre-order now for delivery in January 2025.

Bundle contains 2 cuttings each of:

Salix candida - Very pretty, unusual, ornamental willow which has round, silky, silvery white catkins in early spring. The leaves are very tactile, slightly furry - a little bit like Stachys byzantina (Lamb’s Ears) and can be used as cut foliage in the summer months.

Salix gracilistyla ‘Melanostachys’ - This eye-catching willow is bound to turn heads, with purply-black catkins adorning the branches from January to March. Can be cut for a vase. Oval, glossy leaves in summer.

Salix udensis ‘Sekka’ (Japanese Fantail Willow) - Weird and wonderful! Great for oriental flower arrangements. Mature plants develop fasciated or flattened stems which can be covered with weeny silver-grey catkins in spring.

Salix Purpurea ‘Eugenii’ - THE prettiest, tiny pink tinged catkins, borne on slender green stems. Foliage is very attractive and it’s one of our favourite willows for basketry too.

Salix triandra ‘Whissender’ - One of the first willows to show its catkins here, in very early Spring. Essential for bees and other pollinators but also great additions to Valentines’ and Mothering Sunday bouquets.

Salix Daphnoides ‘Continental Purple’ - Large, bright silvery pussies on stunning, contrasting dark purple stems which dry almost black. Brilliant for early pollinators and for spring floral arrangements.

The catkin covered stems of each of these special varieties can also be dried so that you can enjoy them all year round.

Supplied as a mixed bundle of 12 freshly cut setts/ cuttings, two of each variety, complete with care and planting instructions.

Each cutting will be approximately 30cm long. Every bundle comes with its very own plant passport authorised by DEFRA’s Animal and Plant Health Agency.

Please note, that we are currently only able to send living willow cuttings to addresses in the UK.

If you would like much larger quantities or cuttings of longer lengths, please get in touch directly before placing your order by emailing clare@warwickshirewillow.com
